People from all over the country are organizing to converge on Washington, D.C., to demand the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all U.S. and NATO forces from Afghanistan and Iraq.  On Saturday, March 20, 2010, there will be a massive National March & Rally in D.C in front of the White House.  A day of action and outreach in Washington, D.C., will take place on Friday, March 19, preceding the Saturday march.  We will march together to say “No Colonial-type Wars and Occupations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Haiti!" We will march together to say "No War Against Iran!” We will march together to say “No War for Empire Anywhere!”.  Read the A.N.S.W.E.R. call to action.

Protest at AIPAC (American-Israel Public Affairs Committee) where war criminals Tony Blair and current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are scheduled to speak.

TRANSPORTATION FROM THE TAMPA BAY AREA
People from the Tampa Bay area will be going to D.C. to participate in the march, as well as in Cindy Sheehan's Peace of the ActionAre you interested in going?  If so, please send email ASAP.   Details are being determined, but the general timetable is to depart on Thursday, March 18 (late afternoon/early evening) and return the morning of Monday, March 22.  Cost will depend on how many people go, but figure somewhere in the $40-70 range.  We're trying to secure inexpensive (or free) modest accommodations in D.C.  Please call Bruce at 727-278-1547 or send email to dc@stpeteforpeace.org with questions.
