call on all Americans to RESIST the war and repression that has been

Come join us
and thousands of others across the globe this Saturday March 20th for a
global day of protest against war and occupation. We have been
silent for too long.
Let's
follow the lead set by the people of Spain and refuse to accept war and
occupation!
Picnic, Rally and March

Highlights include:
- Live entertainment from local musician Bob
Howes.
- Children will be able to make their own "peace
flags."
- We will have a march down 4th Street at
approximately 3:00pm with our banners and signs. This will be our
way of proclaiming that we won't be silent anymore! We will have
signs available to use, but please feel free to bring your own form of
expression.
- Many local groups will be represented with
tables. To reserve a spot for your table, click here to send
email. For those staffing a table, please arrive by 1:00pm.
This event is globally sponsored by United
for Peace and Justice, and International A.N.S.W.E.R and is brought to
you locally by the March 20th Committee, a coalition of the following
organizations: Veterans for Peace, Green Party of Pinellas
County, Pax Christi Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg Friends (Quakers),
Sojourner Truth Project, St. Pete for Peace, and Women in Black -
Gulfcoast.
