Release the torture photos, Obama!
In solidarity with Veterans for Peace, Iraq Veterans Against the
War, and Veterans for Common Sense, St. Pete for Peace supports the end
of torture and the release of the new photographs. The photos
below were sent to the veteran groups who will deliver them to Obama.

Although Obama is attempting to censor the release of these pictures of apparent rape and sexual abuse (read)
and believes that releasing them would inflame anti-American public
opinion and put the troops in danger, many in the military have spoken
in favor of their release. President of Veterans For Peace and
former Navy Corpsman, Mike Ferner said, "The biggest threat to our
service members and our Republic is that we forget what has happened
and do it again," He continued, "Withholding these photographs makes it
more likely that the people of our country can push these horrendous
acts to the edge of our collective memory. This will not serve our
nation well."
