General Dynamics sends employees
home early to avoid protest!

They're not afraid of selling
military equipment to Gaddafi...
but they must be afraid of their employees reading our signs!
Protest successful before it even starts!
General Dynamics employees were told to leave work at 3:00pm - one hour
before a protest was to begin
in front of their building in St. Petersburg. At 4:00pm,
about three
dozen people held a vibrant demonstration denouncing the weapons
manufacturer for selling military equipment to Libyan dictator Moammar
Gaddafi.
Check out
video from the protest.

Protest
at General Dynamics weapons manufacturer
Instead
of bombing dictators, stop selling them bombs!
Wednesday,
April 13, 4:00-6:00pm
11399 16th Court North, St.
Petersburg (near corner of Roosevelt Blvd. and 16th Street N). Map.
Why General Dynamics?
In
2008, General Dynamics sold $165 million in military equipment to
Muammar Gaddafi's elite second brigade, led by Gaddafi's son
Khamis.
This force was deployed to Libyan streets near the city of Benghazi
where it unleashed live ammunition on protesters (BBC,
2/21/2011).
